Question about Quest 2 64 GB - 366038

Does it make sense to "upgrade" from Rift S to Quest 2 ? I'm not interested in wireless, I'm interested in the better resolution and I don't think that will be used with PC ? Be it wireless with virtual desktop (bitrate wise) or with cable, the full resolution is not used with PC (but with Quest 2 apps it is). Is this correct ? Nor should I count on the better mount (+50 francs) and a usb cable (long enough, 50-80 francs) as well. Will it be an improvement for PC gaming, or just a lot of tinkering and tweaking?

I would recommend you to try the headset somehow. The difference is noticeable, but whether you need it or not is another question. I would recommend wireless Vr to you anytime. You've probably never experienced it! That's something completely different! Lg Noah (Consider the announcement for 120 hz support on the Quest 2:)

Another advantage: If you have a second Oculus, you can play multiplayer with guests at home instead of just watching them have fun in VR. I can recommend Population:one or RecRoom. Of course, you need the appropriate space and a permit from the Federal Council ;)

I can only agree with the answer: Make sure you try it out first. On the one hand, the resolution is higher, but on the other hand, in contrast to the Rift S, certain artefacts naturally occur in the image due to the transmission via link cable or wireless. Personally, I don't notice these (especially if the experience is good), but people are sensitive to them in different ways.
