Nuki Smart Lock 3.0 Pro CH cylinder
Nuki Smart Lock 3.0 Pro CH cylinder
This should theoretically be compatible. Here is the vendor's response to this: "The Nuki 3.0 Pro does not need to be connected to a bridge because this product has built-in WLAN. However, if the customer needs a bridge to improve the range to the router, it should work.
Yes, of course! The device is installed inside your home and the cylinder remains the same. So you can open the door with a key from the outside and manually from the inside.
I'd try that. https://nuki.io/de/ist-mein-tuerschloss-mit-nuki-kompatibel/ The shape of the head actually looks like a classic Kaba key. If the shape and size are identical to a Kaba, it should actually work.
It has a yellow hexagonal adapter with it (with a 'diameter' of about 1.5 cm). We don't have a knob, so I don't know how to install it. I assume you would have to unscrew the knob first and then put this adapter over it.
A key is fixed in the lock. If the lock allows the key to be pushed out, yes. Otherwise not.
Depends on the situation. As far as I know, with non-double lock cylinders the manual unlocking/locking of the door is not possible because the key in the Nuki blocks the cylinder.
It may be that the product is not suitable for all living situations. However, I would not generalise this. :)
I use Nuki with Apple Home Kit. However, the integration is very poor... i.e. whenever the lock goes to sleep, you can't control anything from HomeKit, or the status is unknown. After opening the lock with the Niki app, everything works via HomeKit. HomeKey itself is not the problem, but the poor HomeKit integration.
Hello, as far as I know, there is only 8mm square or 9mm square, you can dismantle the knob and measure! Then you can order the adapter.
I also changed from Nuki2 to Nuki3 without changing the metal plate. It works perfectly.
I have a Philips Hue wall switch mounted on the door, which sends me a notification on my mobile phone whenever the door opens. You could also use Alexa or similar to play an alarm sound.
If the locking or unlocking process fails, the Nuki signals. Two turns (720 degrees) are possible. Three turns are not possible in my app (but I have a first or second generation Nuki and don't know if this has been changed).
Check in Nuki website. shop.nuki.io there you will find a guide to know the compatibility
Hello I have also tested the door and it is compatible but I had problems and had to change the lock because nuki broke the cylinder. I wrote to nuki to let them know I was unhappy and since July I have been wanting to buy the nuki universal cylinder but it is still out of stock. I wrote to nuki to let them know this is the problem and here is the answer other cylinders are compatible with the nuki lock but I don't know which brands. I bought the nuki lock in July and I can't use it
You should rather ask Nuki. But I don't think it comes in black. Since most people don't have a black door. I know that many have asked for it in white. I am glad about that.
Mounting is actually not difficult, choose Nuki model for correct cylinder (CH cylinders are round). When the Nuki is mounted, the key is always inside the lock. It depends on the cylinder type whether you can insert and turn a key on the outside. Some cylinders support this, others do not. You should try this out in advance. If you have two keys at hand, simply insert them inside and outside at the same time. If the key turns both inside and outside, everything is OK.
No, unfortunately it does not have any other outputs, at least not without soldering. I had the same problem and solved it with a Switchbot incl. Schwitchbot hub. this way you can operate the button on the front door without destroying it. Good luck
If you already have a bridge, then the Pro is not necessary. lmgtfy -> https://www.tink.de/blog/nuki-3-vs-nuki-3-pro-smart-lock-im-vergleich
Yes, works for me
I have a knob on the inside and can open with the key on the outside without any problems.
Unfortunately, we have no information on this and we are currently unable to add any new products to our range.
Theoretically yes, but we recommend asking the insurance company before purchasing, as the views may differ.
Yes, it's possible and it's the case for me. You need an adapter depending on the type of button. In my case, the adapter didn't exist, so I had to adapt one of the existing models. The Nuxi website is very clear.
