My device was already shipped with Android 9. It is not likely that you can get a lower OS version. However, you may be able to grade down by rebooting the device via USB using a Linux interface. However, this costs time and nerves.

Yes, it has Tap to wake and yes, you can turn it off (Settings -> Dosplay -> Advanced -> Tap to wake).

Hi. nope. on my 6.1, the power button sits nice and snug and doesn't rattle or move when I move the phone.
It`s not the brightest screen ever (it is only LCD) but for the money it is a good value and works pretty well.

Normally, after connecting your device to the PC, you can select in the notification dropdown (swipe down from the top of the screen) which type of transfer should take place between PC + device. (only charging or another option, you are probably interested in the OTG storage) -> so you can easily move data back and forth. https://refme.me/nokia-6-1-...

You can connect your phone to many useful Bluetooth devices. For example: With a wireless headset (sold separately) you have both hands free when making calls.
You can connect e.g. a TP-LINK HA100 (receiver) to the unit.
The two openings are the microphone. :-)
The original keyboard is the Google one so yes, but it is possible to install other ones if needed ;)

The best thing is to format the SD card directly from the device, then it will work for sure :)
According to the info on the website (see link below), a smartphone with Android 5.0 or higher is required. The Nokia 6.1 has Android 8.0 and should therefore work (at least with a USB cable, for a wireless connection a Pixel or Nexus 5X/6P is required). Since I don't have a car that supports Android Auto, I can't test it.
