It seems that the Nokia 6.1 is already receiving the update to Android 9, however I need a test device with Android 8. Is this device still shipping with Android 8 or already with Android 9?

Helpful answer

My device was already shipped with Android 9. It is not likely that you can get a lower OS version. However, you may be able to grade down by rebooting the device via USB using a Linux interface. However, this costs time and nerves.
