It is the CH keyboard layout and therefore the QWERTY version.

I am relatively sure (but not 100%!) that the USB plug is coded to exactly this keyboard and mouse. Therefore, in my opinion, an exchange will not be possible. If you still have warranty, an exchange would be the best solution.
If you're planning to buy a new one instead, here's my experience: I'm now using my third Sculpt keyboard. With the previous ones, one (shift key) and the other (right space bar) failed at some point. However, I am a frequent typist and have not yet found a better keyboard for me.
There is probably dust or dirt under the keys. Turn the keyboard over and shake it well on all sides. If necessary, carefully vacuum with a hoover or blow out with compressed air.

Hi, the error you describe is very annoying. I don't know it exactly like that, but it often ignores the first keystroke after a short pause. It seems as if the connection is only reactivated by pressing the key and is NOT interpreted as a character. Very annoying. Could it have the same cause?
In the Quick Start Guide you can see a picture, the receiver is always at the bottom of the mouse under the battery cover. Pull it out and plug it into the PC :-)
Unfortunately, this has nothing to do with the keyboard. The 4-digit alt combinations only work in rich text environments/Unicode such as Word, but not in a normal text editor. They don't work for me even with a Logi MX and Notepad++, I tried it briefly. Not even if I encode the file in UCS-2.
Hi, in the Microsoft Community it is claimed that a dongle only fits on the keyboard/mouse with which it was purchased. It further states that you can contact Microsoft support at the following link: https://support.microsoft.com/de-de...
