Hi. Initially I also had problems with the USB until I connected it to a USB 3.1 Gen 2 directly on the mainboard. Before that I tried it on different USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports (according to the specifications) which caused problems.

Laptops usually switch automatically between integrated and dedicated graphics. This setup should work in my opinion, have you tried this adapter with a normal display instead of the Rift?

It works, depending on the size of the glasses. However, you have to be very careful not to scratch the glasses. Both with the Oculus and with the glasses. It is better to have lenses made with the correct prescription for the Oculus.
In principle, everything is included except games. You can find them on the Oculus Store or on Steam. But I would go for the Oculus Quest. It can simply do more.
Supply & demand, or Corona (limited number of spectacles produced) I would now have simply asserted quite boldly:(

Yes, Steam VR supports Oculus Rift S. Steam VR can be started in VR from Oculus Home. All Steam VR titles are then accessible in it.
I made the same mistake. I don't think that's going to happen any time soon.
I don't know of any test software, but I would highly recommend using headphones with the Rift-S anyway. This strange built-in soundbar is, in my opinion, the weakest component of the glasses.
I ordered these to go with it: Koss KSC 75 (On-Ear, Silver)
I ordered the thing at the beginning of April, the delivery date is regularly extended and is currently mid-June. I'd be surprised if the Rift arrives by autumn. If I were you, I'd wait for the HP Revert G2 anyway, it's better in all respects, although more expensive.
No these VR glasses are not suitable for the PS4.
