Question about Meta Rift S

Hello all. I have the problem that I don't have a Displayport connector on my Lenovo Yoga a930. However, I have a Thunderbolt 3 port, but I don't know if it is directly connected to my dedicated graphics card. How do I find out? And which adapter can I use? I bought a Dell DP-USB C adapter, but it doesn't work... Thanks for the help in advance.

Laptops usually switch automatically between integrated and dedicated graphics. This setup should work in my opinion, have you tried this adapter with a normal display instead of the Rift?
