The model with the part number 40AS0090UK has two DisplayPort connections, both of which can operate two 4K displays at up to 60 Hz.

Hello, Can this man use 3 external monitors in extend mode, i.e. like 3 different working environments (2 display and 1 VGA) or the monitor ports just work like a splitter? Thank you, Asen

Hello, I have a Lenovo ThinkPad E590 with the configuration "Intel UHD Graphics 620 in processor and AMD Radeon RX 550X Graphics, 2GB DDR5 memory". Would this docking station allow me to have 2 screens with 3840 by 2160 px resolution each at 60Hz? (60Hz is important) Thanks

Hello, I haven't personally tested this configuration but according to the documentation, https://download.lenovo.com/pccbbs..., at the bottom of page 1, it doesn't seem possible. The best thing to do is to go to the Lenovo website. There you can easily filter out whether a docking station is suitable for you.

I need a longer USB-C cable than the one supplied. What type (2.0, 3.0, 3.1) do I need to buy to be able to connect my laptop to the docking and have everything work (charging, displayport, etc.)?

We have tried this several times. Once it worked (allegedly), but the next time it didn't .... - the desktop was only displayed briefly and then it was black again ... we tried it with a 4K monitor. However, Lenovos run perfectly.

Ask Lenovo or Google. I can only answer "fits perfectly" for an E485.

Bought this product for the Yoga 530, but unfortunately it does not recognise external monitors, nor does it charge the battery - but the device is recognised. PS: Have updated all drivers and the BIOS, as well as downloaded the associated drivers via Lenovo.... Does anyone have any idea what the problem is?

Do I understand this correctly, this docking station should work with the Thinkpad T480, but do I need to buy an additional power supply so I don't always have to remove the one from the notebook?

The docking station has its own power supply unit in the scope of delivery. If the laptop can be charged via USB-C, this works without any problems. I use this with the Yoga 910 and it works without any problems.
