Do I understand this correctly, this docking station should work with the Thinkpad T480, but do I need to buy an additional power supply so I don't always have to remove the one from the notebook?

Helpful answer

The docking station has its own power supply unit in the scope of delivery. If the laptop can be charged via USB-C, this works without any problems. I use this with the Yoga 910 and it works without any problems.

The power supply unit is available. Any devices can be connected to the docking station. I have one docking station in the office and one at home and connect different devices.
