Have you selected the correct paper type in the print properties? At 160/m2 you have to select the heavy paper type! Then the paper runs slower through the printer and does not smudge.

My experience with the printer is the same. The printer works without any problems if you use the LAN port. The printer is reliably accessible via this port. The direct WLAN print function from a mobile device also works well. What does not work reliably is the network connection via the WLAN interface. The printer loses the connection even though everything is configured correctly and an IP address is available. After a few days of trying and rebooting, I switched to the physical LAN port Ethernet interface. Something about the Wi-Fi port on this printer doesn't seem to be working well. I have not yet contacted HP about this as I can live with the LAN port connection.

I need this printer daily and have been using it since Feb17 and have not had any tech. problems yet. Problems had. According to my quality standards, which I would not call low, I have never been able to detect a problem in this respect - this after 8200 printed colour pages. I have never printed a full-surface logo in A4. From my point of view, a good product for everyday use and good value for money; that's why I bought another one for a second home.

Does the printer come with toner?

Yes, but they are small demonstrators... They don't have the page count of the normal ones by far. But order XL. Better price/quantity ratio.

This is a refund made directly by HP following the purchase of the product. If you scroll down to the article page, you will see that there is a "Cashback" section where everything is explained :)

did you only reinstall the driver or the complete software including the driver package of the printer? does the printer also have a new firmware ? you can usually see in the download area of the printer if there is something new...

Toner (cartridges) - similar to cartridges, simply for laser printers - are included, see "scope of delivery" in the product description. As is often the case with laser printers, however, they do not contain a lot of toner. For black, the small version is included (for 2300 pages), for each colour a "starter" version (1200 pages each, while the small version, available as a replacement, can print 2300 pages). Note: Page figures refer to test pages with certain criteria. If you often print documents with a lot of "content", there will be correspondingly fewer pages.

Cashbacks usually go like this: -You buy the product (in this case the products) from the retailer of your choice. -You fill out a form (name, address, information about the product and the retailer, bank details, proof of purchase,...) and send it to the manufacturer (in this case within 30 days of purchase). -Wait until the money is transferred. Therefore you pay the full price (449.-), you get 100.- back from HP later. https://h41201.www4.hp.com/WMCF.Web/ch/de/promotion/13390/Details/
