Why is my machine not printing even though, according to the wireless network connection check report, the diagnostics are all 'Success' and the signal strength is indicated as 'Excellent'?
My experience with the printer is the same. The printer works without any problems if you use the LAN port. The printer is reliably accessible via this port. The direct WLAN print function from a mobile device also works well. What does not work reliably is the network connection via the WLAN interface. The printer loses the connection even though everything is configured correctly and an IP address is available. After a few days of trying and rebooting, I switched to the physical LAN port Ethernet interface. Something about the Wi-Fi port on this printer doesn't seem to be working well. I have not yet contacted HP about this as I can live with the LAN port connection.
My experience so far has been quite the opposite - we operate the printer via WLAN and control it with Windows, OS-X and iOS clients - without any problems or dropouts.
However, I have also configured the printer with a fixed IP outside the range assigned via DHCP, so maybe that's the reason?
In any case, we are completely satisfied with the HP so far.
Maybe this has improved in the meantime, but in any case I have no problems with WLAN. However, I have also assigned a fixed address to the printer (via DHCP).
