Have a look here... http://videobearbeitung-in-action.de/gopro-zeit...ählen might be useful. Personally, I am very disappointed with the battery life of the GoPro Hero5. So you will certainly need a different solution if you want to shoot pictures for a longer time.

What exactly are you planning to do with it? Basically, the camera is already very robust and can withstand a lot. Otherwise, I would recommend the Super Suit: GoPro Super Suit Dive Case (Housing) I personally also find the Shorty a good gadget: GoPro Shorty (grip, tripod) Depending on how long you will be on the road, a spare battery is not a bad idea. And of course a suitable SD card is a must, otherwise nothing works ;) Two adhesive mounts are also included with the camera. You can then attach them to your helmet, ski... ski...

Well, according to gopro you can do up to 10m without a housing. I haven't tried that myself yet. However, snow and heavy rain. Neither was a problem, but it's not the same. My recommendation is to buy the housing, the risk would be too great for me personally. The camera is then also better protected against falls.

I got the housing. I think the camera is watertight, but when snorkelling and on the beach, sand is the biggest enemy. I didn't want to take any risks. I recommend the housing, then you are on the safe side!

In my opinion, this is not possible. The telemetry is recorded via GPS in real time and later added to a recording in the editor if necessary, but the GoPro does not have a pressure gauge to measure the water pressure or depth. Some Olympus trackers have this sensor because they are also specially designed for diving.

You must mean older models. I have 64GB and it works fine. 128GB is also supported. More may not work. You can also record longer than is possible with 4GB, but then it's multiple videos.
