What exactly are you planning to do with it? Basically, the camera is already very robust and can withstand a lot.

I personally also find the Shorty a good gadget: GoPro Shorty (grip, tripod)
Depending on how long you will be on the road, a spare battery is not a bad idea.

Well, according to gopro you can do up to 10m without a housing. I haven't tried that myself yet. However, snow and heavy rain. Neither was a problem, but it's not the same.
My recommendation is to buy the housing, the risk would be too great for me personally. The camera is then also better protected against falls.

Depends on your budget. I use the Samsung Evo Plus (128gb). Others will certainly advise you to use a ScnDisk Extreme Plus.

I got the housing. I think the camera is watertight, but when snorkelling and on the beach, sand is the biggest enemy. I didn't want to take any risks. I recommend the housing, then you are on the safe side!

The telemetry is recorded via GPS in real time and later added to a recording in the editor if necessary, but the GoPro does not have a pressure gauge to measure the water pressure or depth. Some Olympus trackers have this sensor because they are also specially designed for diving.

You must mean older models. I have 64GB and it works fine. 128GB is also supported. More may not work.
You can also record longer than is possible with 4GB, but then it's multiple videos.
