Does the display only show "DLS" without a station name? If so, you probably don't have DAB+ reception. If there is a station name above it (the display has two lines), the title of the song should appear after a few seconds. If you still can't hear anything, please send it in again.
I had exactly the same problem yesterday without changing the location. I unplugged the cable from the device and then plugged it in again (first to the device and then to the power supply). Maybe this will work for you too!
