Do alternative cartridges work with the Pro-200?

Is it possible to print without the photo cartridges? Or must all cartridges always be present? Thank you

It is absolutely impossible for me to print envelopes correctly. The printer is systematically unable to recognise paper formats correctly and then refuses to print anything. If the paper format recognition is switched off manually, the printer prints everything horizontally, regardless of whether the format is rotated by 90° (paper format and printer driver setting). Even the manually set 90° rotated option does not change this. If you then want to print an envelope C6 long with the wide side at the front (everything else doesn't work), the paper feed is mechanically so miserable that the envelope is then printed at an angle. Can anyone give me a tip on what else I can tinker with so that this printer prints a C6 long envelope correctly?

That's what the evaluation says: I would love to give it back I have rarely been so disappointed with a purchase. I already had the 100s, which gave fantastic print results. I expected at least as good quality from the new purchase. In various tests you can read that the print quality is even better. I cannot confirm this. My pictures are all too dark and the brightness control has no effect on the print. The new Printstudio is 10 times worse than the old one. With contrast reproduction, the images are reasonably sharp, but this results in dark edges in the image. That doesn't work at all. The printing itself is about as fast, but it takes ages to get going, which wasn't the case with the old one. I'm glad I haven't sold the Canon 100S yet. less Contra Prints slower than the 100s Prints more expensively because cartridges are more expensive. prints too dark (darker than the 100s) adjusting the brightness of images has zero effect absolute disaster

The Imageprograf 1000 jogs the pigment cartridges if the machine is not used every day. This means that a large quantity of the pigment ink tanks runs into the container, which also has to be replaced. This means even more printing costs. The Pro-300 A3+ printer also works with pigment inks. Does it use the same vibrating system as the 1000 or not? I would like to buy the 300, but if it works with the same high and expensive ink consumption system, I will not buy it.
