It is absolutely impossible for me to print envelopes correctly. The printer is systematically unable to recognise paper formats correctly and then refuses to print anything. If the paper format recognition is switched off manually, the printer prints everything horizontally, regardless of whether the format is rotated by 90° (paper format and printer driver setting). Even the manually set 90° rotated option does not change this. If you then want to print an envelope C6 long with the wide side at the front (everything else doesn't work), the paper feed is mechanically so miserable that the envelope is then printed at an angle. Can anyone give me a tip on what else I can tinker with so that this printer prints a C6 long envelope correctly?
Well, if you want to print envelopes with it, you've bought the wrong one.
I just use an office printer for that. The pro-200 is only used for photo prints. The ink is too expensive for everything else.
I print with Canson Infinity A3 Platinum Fine Art paper of 310 grams
It is set to automatic detection and calibrated according to the density of the paper to be used.
It's a printer for professional photography, it can print documents on A4 format (letter, various documents) but it's made for professional photography and for that, it needs to be calibrated with a print probe.
