The machine displays an LED indicator and the status monitor on the computer also indicates that the roll is empty. As soon as the roll is replaced, the machine moves on to the next label at which printing has stopped.
The main difference is that the QL-800 can print in colour (red and black), but only with the appropriate labels. The QL-700 can only print black and is slightly smaller.
With the QL-800, labels can be printed quickly and in the best quality, even with a mobile phone. Requirements: ANDROID! Device must be connected to the mobile phone (separate cable).
There are alternative manufacturers. Use "Compatible with QL-800" when searching. For small quantities, I recommend labels from the manufacturer.

According to the supplier: You can use the QL-800 for food labels as long as they are not wet.
Yes, definitely, but actually the basic model (black and white) with automatic cutter is good enough for the post office (QL-600). Interesting are also bundles Brother QL-820NWB Bundle (300dpi) Don't forget, labels are also expensive, not only the printer...
No ... because A7 measures 74mm on the shorter side, but the printer can print a maximum of 62mm. However, it is possible to send CH Post webstamps directly to the printer. Swiss Post's online tool supports thermal printers and several formats of the printer. A7, however, does not.
Yes, with the included software you can print almost anything. From QR codes to common barcodes, or even images. Depending on the size of the motif, however, little can be seen due to the resolution.
Yes, that is actually the idea behind this printer. You can buy different labels and then easily print the labels you want. Attention print quality (not high-end). Excellent for office purposes.
Well, I regularly print webstamps from post.ch with it. However, the matching layout suggested by the post website is a bit of a waste of space on the label. However, the pdf from Swiss Post can be printed on the printer without any problems. I assume the same applies to parcel labels.
"Cards" as such are not possible, because you have to insert a roll into the device. However, if you have a roll of thermal paper, e.g. white continuous paper, then this is possible. All suitable rolls for this device can be found here: https://support.brother.com/g/b/colist.aspx?c=ch&lang=de&prod=lpql800euk&cao=roll Greetings
