No, because it's a portable charger that can be plugged into any European 16A EEC socket.

Yes, or rather it is the AUTO that stops the charging process when it is fully charged or your set target in the car (e.g. 80%) has been reached. (There is no option in the charger to set a target in per cent or kW, as the charger does not know how full the car battery is. There is only an optional timer to start the charging process DELAYED (e.g. only in a few hours). (But no timer to switch off after a certain time!)

A CEE32 connection cannot be connected directly to the portable charger with CEE16 plug as the plug does not fit. You will need a suitable adapter from CEE32 to CEE16 to use the charger anyway. The charger itself does not display any power consumption, it does not have an integrated energy meter. For safety, please note that the charger does not have integrated DC residual current protection (RCD type B), so a separate RCD type B must be installed if this is not already present. Summarised: - CEE32 to CEE16 adapter required for connection. - No integrated energy meter, therefore no power consumption directly visible on the appliance. - Separate RCD type B protection required as not integrated.

Hello, I'd have to test it on another plug, as I had a fault with the charger that Galaxus replaced and I've had it for 3 years and no more problems.

I use the charger under a roof, but rain should not interfere with the charging process. Yes, I would say that it also works in the rain.

No, there's no problem, it's the percentage set on the car that counts. If the charge limit on the car is set at 80%, the charger stops automatically. I leave the charger plugged in all the time and only unplug it when there's a storm.

The charger does not switch off automatically when charging is complete; the plug must be removed from the vehicle manually. Overcharging is technically not possible with electric cars, as the vehicle controls the charging process and stops charging as soon as the battery is full. The charger itself offers a timer function to control the charging time, but it does not disconnect automatically. Staying plugged in overnight is generally not dangerous and does not harm the car as the vehicle controls the charge and has overcharge protection. Nevertheless, it is advisable to remove the plug once charging is complete to avoid unnecessary power consumption and possible safety risks.

To obtain power in excess of 3.6 kW with a three-phase 16 A × 3 phase installation, you need a three-phase charging point capable of delivering 11 kW, i.e. 16 A on each phase (16 A × 230 V × 3 phases = 11 kW). This requires the electrical installation to be three-phase and the charging point to be designed for this power. So, with a 16 A three-phase connection, you can charge up to 11 kW, which is more than 3.6 kW single-phase.

Hello, so you're at 3.6 kW, not kWh, as this is the charging power. To change the amperage, and therefore the power, you need to hold down the button, then press it several times until the correct amperage appears on the screen. Finally, and I admit this is rather annoying, you have to hold down the button to confirm and retain your choice.

Hello there. Have you set the charger to maximum? Keep your finger on the amps button and select 16A. Otherwise, are you sure that your wall socket is rated for this power? Best regards. Moreno

The Blaupunkt portable charger (type 2, 11 kW, 16 A, CEE16 red) with the product ID P3PM2T2 has a protection rating of IP65, which means that it is protected against dust and water jets. You can therefore use it outside in the rain, but it should not be submerged in water. Regarding drive-over protection: The charger has no specific mention of drive-over protection in the information provided. However, it is waterproof and dustproof according to the IP65 protection class, which makes it robust against external influences, but it is not explicitly described as drive-over protection.

The Blaupunkt portable charger (type 2, 11 kW, 16 A, CEE16 red) with the product ID P3PM2T2 does not come with integrated DC monitoring protection. It is therefore necessary to install a separate RCD type B switch to ensure the necessary safety.

I've been using this charger for over a year without any regrets. It works perfectly and has never switched off after 30' without being asked to do so. I usually programme it in the evening at off-peak times to start at around 9pm and switch it off in the morning at 6.30am, but by then my vehicle is 100% charged anyway... I'd definitely recommend it
