Blaupunkt Portable charger
Type 2, 11 kW, 16 A, CEE16 red
Hello everyone. I am a complete layman when it comes to e-mobility. We are thinking about buying an electric car. We are tenants and it would be possible to have a charging point installed in the underground car park. Instead of installing a complete wallbox, wouldn't a device like this also work? Or would the Juice Booseter be a better option? All that is needed for this device is an industrial socket, isn't it? The line would have to be fused with 16A, so an 11KW charging capacity would be realistic, wouldn't it?
We have been using this device for approx. 4 weeks for a Peugeot E208. Works perfectly on a wall socket CEE 16A 5L 6h 400V IP44. It's certainly the best choice for tenants.
I use this charger with a 16A 400v EEC socket. The line is in fact protected by a 16A FI circuit breaker, because the plug is outside (humidity). It works perfectly well now, but I had to return two faulty products before receiving one that worked. Since then, everything has been fine.
I bought a Dacia Spring which unfortunately has a single-phase charger, but I prefer to charge with this unit on an industrial socket 16 A with 3.7 KW instead of a household socket 10 A where I can only draw 2.3 KW . If you have a car with a three-phase charger, this charging cable is the best choice.
