Aten VS182A 2-Port HDMI Splitter 4K/2K
Aten VS182A 2-Port HDMI Splitter 4K/2K
The splitter works like the second variant described - the input signal is "duplicated" and thus displayed on both outputs (if connected and switched on) at the same time. The splitter also automatically recognises to which of the two outputs a device is connected (indicated by the LED on the splitter). The splitter is used to display a signal on both the TV and the beamer in the living room without having to reconnect the cable each time. Hopefully I was able to help you :)
Hello That is not possible unless the laptop has an HDMI out port. But I think it should be possible with this part. Aten VGA to HDMI Audio/Video Converter
I mean YES but I'm not quite sure.
No, you can't. The device only duplicates the HDMI output on two screens.
Hello Does the splitter have power? Can la be tried to connect only one output? Possibly also with another source? Greetings
We use this splitter in our tennis club and have a beamer and a TV with different resolutions connected to it. Works flawlessly! Have fun!
As long as your signal comes via HDMI from a set-top box or similar, this is possible.
Hello, this is only a splitter. This means you can transfer one picture to two monitors or TVs. So if you have three monitors, you will have exactly the same picture on two monitors. Greetings
I bought this product to connect two TVs to the Cablecom box and it works very well. But I have no idea what "ARC" and "CEC" are so I don't know if it is compatible or not
According to the manufacturer, the device supports a data throughput of 10.2 Gbit/s. Assuming that by 4k you mean 3840 x 2160 pixels, you get 3840*2160*30bit (because each channel is 10bit) *30 frames per second, which then gives (after dividing by 10^9 to get from bit to Gbit) 7.46496Gb/s. Theoretically, this should be sufficient. However, it is not enough for 60 frames per second, which would require twice as much throughput. According to the specifications, the splitter roughly corresponds to HDMI standard 1.4, so it can be assumed that 10bit per channel is not a problem because this hdmi generation also supports it. See here en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HDMI#Version_comparison . The thing is, with these HDMI extenders and devices you can never be 100% sure, especially if you have several in a row. If in doubt, ask the manufacturer if it works with nvidia Shield. good luck.
Both outputs are 4K-capable. They run absolutely interference-free. I currently have a 4K monitor and a Full HD monitor connected. This also works flawlessly.
I have both 4K and Full HD monitors connected. They run simultaneously and absolutely flawlessly.
This splitter permanently supplies the input signal on the two outputs. Otherwise you would have to buy an HDMI switch.
this splitter has both hdmi inputs and outputs, so ideally you would use hdmi. however, i have used this splitter with a dp to hdmi cable for its input and 2 hdmi cables in the outputs. i can confirm that this works. unfortunately, i don't know if it works if there is also 1 hdmi to dp cable and 1 hdmi cable in the outputs.
Yes. Had a ps4 output split.
Hello, I have this splitter between my monitor and TV and I have no delays, so I don't think you will have any problems with your Ps4.
This box also transmits the audio signal via HDMI.
