This is probably due to the TV not finding the right resolution anymore. You should test it on another TV. The same problem occurs sporadically in my house, but only when choosing the source. After a few seconds it's OK. The splitter is permanently on, it dispatches the signal from the UPC 4K box to 2 different Sony TVs. 2m and 7.5m 4K HDMI cables. Plus the 1.5m of splitter input. The total length of the cabling seems to be the issue.
