Especially with autofocus and video, the TZ300 shows that it has remained at the 2018 standard. In terms of image quality, the widely spread zoom takes its toll, especially at long focal lengths. Instead of omitting the viewfinder, Panasonic should have at least modernized the camera in some respects...
The Lumix TZ300 takes good-quality photos – even if the subject is a bit further away, the 15x zoom simply brings it closer. It offers plenty of settings and controls, yet is easy to use. This means even beginners can easily take great photos. Not so great: the Lumix TZ300 doesn’t have a viewfinder and offers few video functions.
