The strengths of the OM-5 II include its light weight, dust and water spray protection and excellent image stabilisation. The computational photography modes are also useful. As a lightweight, robust system for travelling, the OM-5 II a good choice despite its weak battery a good value for money.
Although the OM-5 Mark II Micro Four Thirds camera has few new features compared to its predecessor, it is still a strong camera and one step ahead of the competition, especially with its computational photography functions. It also scores highly with its IP53 weather protection, compact dimensions and low weight, making it a very good choice for travelling and nature photography in particular.
