Although the OM-5 Mark II Micro Four Thirds camera has few new features compared to its predecessor, it is still a strong camera and one step ahead of the competition, especially with its computational photography functions. It also scores highly with its IP53 weather protection, compact dimensions and low weight, making it a very good choice for travelling and nature photography in particular.

- Compact housing with IP53 splash and dust protection
- Enormous range of equipment for photo and video recordings
- Fast, reliable autofocus
- Extremely effective image stabiliser for photo and video recordings
- Very good image quality up to ISO 800 and acceptable at ISO 3,200
- Only 5.4 frames per second mechanically, faster only electronically
- High image quality
- Weatherproof housing
- Small and light
- 4K video only as an excerpt
