APS-C cameras are smaller and lighter than full-frame cameras. Models such as the Fujifilm X-T50, X-S20 or X-M5, Sony A6600/ A6700/A6400, Canon EOS R7/R10/ R50 or Nikon Z50 II/Z30 offer a very good compromise: they deliver good image quality at a moderate weight and price. Typically, an APS-C body weighs around 400-550 grammes, which is significantly less than comparable full-frame models...
The strengths of the OM-5 II include its light weight, dust and water spray protection and excellent image stabilisation. The computational photography modes are also useful. As a lightweight, robust system for travelling, the OM-5 II a good choice despite its weak battery a good value for money.
Although the OM-5 Mark II Micro Four Thirds camera has few new features compared to its predecessor, it is still a strong camera and one step ahead of the competition, especially with its computational photography functions.
