The optical patch cable (jumper cable) is a standard or custom connection optical cable that is terminated with optical connectors at both ends. Patch cables are used to connect devices within a rack or to connect active elements to the optical link terminating in the rack. Patch cables are typically duplex (2x fiber, 4x connectors), but simplex cables (1x fiber, 2x connectors) can also be provided for single-fiber xWDM applications upon request. The connectors E2000, SC, and LC are then connected in duplex format with a clip - this is detachable, allowing the duplex patch cable to be split into two simplex cables (not possible with the robust variant HEAVY DUPLEX). The mentioned patch cables are just a small selection from the range. Additionally, we can supply patch cables with connectors E2000, ST, SC, LC, FC, MTRJ, VF-45.
