An optical patch cable (jumper cable) is a standard or custom-made connection cable that is terminated with optical connectors on both ends. Patch cables are used to connect devices within a distribution cabinet or to connect active elements to a fiber optic run that ends in the distribution cabinet. Patch cables are typically duplex (2x fiber, 4x connectors), but simplex cables (1x fiber, 2x connectors) can also be provided upon request for single-fiber xWDM applications. E2000, SC, and LC connectors are connected in a duplex configuration with a clip that is detachable, allowing for the splitting of a duplex patch cable into two simplex cables (this is not possible with the robust HEAVY DUPLEX variant). The patch cables listed here are just a small selection from the range. Additionally, we can supply patch cables with E2000, ST, SC, LC, FC, MTRJ, and VF-45 connectors.
