An optical patchcord (jumper cable) is a standard or custom-made optical connection cable, terminated on both sides with optical connectors. Patchcords are used to connect devices inside a distribution box or to connect active elements to an optical path terminated in a distribution box. Patchcords are usually duplex (2x fiber, 4x connector); upon request, simplex cables (1x fiber, 2x connector) can also be supplied for single-fiber xWDM applications.

In the duplex version, the E2000, SC, and LC connectors are connected by a clip, which is detachable and allows the duplex patchcord to be divided into two simplex (this is not possible with the durable HEAVY DUPLEX variant). The listed patchcords are only a small selection from the assortment. We can also supply patchcords with E2000, ST, SC, LC, FC, MTRJ, and VF-45 connectors.
