The X-T5 mirrorless system camera expands the multi-award winning X series, which is appreciated for its handy and powerful cameras as well as its great colour reproduction.

It is also smaller and, weighing 557 grams, lighter than its predecessor. The X-T5 has a centrally located electronic viewfinder and several large dials. It has a standard sensitivity of ISO 125, a fastest shutter speed of 1/180,000 sec, the "Pixel Shift Multi-Shot" function as well as the Scene Recognition Autofocus based on Deep Learning technology. The X-T5 records video in up to 6.2K/30p quality.

With the EOS R7, Canon is just about at the top of the test field. In terms of the camera's performance, this is perfectly acceptable; in terms of input dynamic range alone, it is in a league of its own. But, as I said, it's still a close call.
