Kånken was founded in 1978 to prevent back problems among Swedish schoolchildren and has since become one of Fjällräven's most popular products. The mini version is suitable for both small children and grown adults looking for a small backpack. It is perfect for carrying a change of clothes for preschool or snacks on an outing, and serves as a stylish everyday bag for books, water bottles, fruit, and more. The shoulder straps are long and adjustable, fitting both small and large backs. They can be secured with a buckle to keep them out of the way when tightened. The material is durable, lightweight Vinylon F fabric that resists dirt and moisture. The main compartment features a large zipper opening that makes packing and unpacking easy. There are two flat side pockets and a zippered pocket on the front.
