The AXIS Surveillance Card 512 GB is a powerful edge storage solution optimized for video surveillance applications. Edge storage enables a flexible storage solution, such as decentralized video recording, and can replace servers, DVRs, or NVRs at the deployment site. When used with limited bandwidth, live video can be displayed in low resolution. However, the images are still recorded locally in HDTV quality on the AXIS Surveillance Card 512 GB. In conjunction with Axis Zipstream technology, video recordings can be stored on the AXIS Surveillance Card 512 GB in both primary and redundant formats for data backup in the event of a connection loss, even in high resolution.
