The AXIS Surveillance Card 1 TB is a highly durable edge storage solution optimized for video surveillance applications. Edge storage allows for a flexible storage solution, such as decentralized video recording, and can replace servers, DVRs, or NVRs on-site due to its long data retention period. When used with limited bandwidth, live video can be displayed in lower resolution. Nevertheless, the images are recorded locally in HDTV quality on the AXIS Surveillance Card 1 TB. In combination with Axis Zipstream technology, even high-resolution videos up to 4K can be effectively recorded locally on the AXIS Surveillance Card 1 TB as primary storage.
