The AXIS Surveillance Card 256 GB is a powerful edge storage solution optimized for video surveillance applications. Edge storage allows for a flexible storage solution, such as decentralized video recording, and can replace servers, DVRs, or NVRs at the deployment site. In applications with limited bandwidth, live video can be displayed in lower resolution. Nevertheless, the images are recorded locally in HDTV quality on the AXIS Surveillance Card 256 GB. In conjunction with Axis Zipstream technology, video recordings can be effectively stored locally on the AXIS Surveillance Card 256 GB even in high resolution—both primarily and redundantly for fail-safe recording in the event of a connection loss.
