We play "PUBG", (for me) the most nerve-wracking and best game of the decade
by Philipp Rüegg
In the "ElectriX Mechanic Simulator" you can try your hand at being a handyman risk-free. The most you can do here is virtually wreck mobile phones. But the game is not entirely without danger, as Raphi and Phil find out today from 1 pm.
If that's not the perfect game for our Teardown theme week. In "ElectriX Mechanic Simulator" you repair smartphones, PCs or old Game Boys. I definitely don't have to be afraid of breaking anything. Unlike my Switch project, which I haven't given up on yet.
At least that's what the developers SimFabric claim. However, there has apparently been no update for a year, while other games are being worked on at the same time. So if I were you, I would hold off on supporting the Kickstarter campaign. Just watch our video instead. It's cheaper and offers better entertainment anyway.
We stream most Wednesdays on Youtube. You can also check out our Discord channel.
This is how we stream
As a child, I wasn't allowed to have any consoles. It was only with the arrival of the family's 486 PC that the magical world of gaming opened up to me. Today, I'm overcompensating accordingly. Only a lack of time and money prevents me from trying out every game there is and decorating my shelf with rare retro consoles.
"ElectriX Mechanic Simulator" was funded via a Kickstarter campaign. This also gives you access to the playable demo, which Raphi and I try out in our weekly Let's Play. However, the game is not a pure simulator, as the trailer makes clear. The craft game has a story that begins with a cryptic message similar to "Matrix". And just like in the film, there is a dark conspiracy behind it.
