I would like to buy a travel camera with 30x zoom and had decided on the Panasonic Lumix TZ71. Image quality is very important to me, GPS doesn't matter. Which one?

Hello! Have a look at dkamera.de, where you can compare the image quality of the two cameras: http://www.dkamera.de/testberich...

Well, I have the TZ 61 and I'm very happy with it. The image quality will be the same. The special thing about the TZ 71 is the Leica lens, but whether that is better than the Sony lens is a moot point since the light intensity is about the same. I would download the user manual of both cameras and see which one is easier for you to use. Both systems are simple but you have to get used to them.

I would buy the Sony...
as for accessories like batteries and bags, they are lighter and more available than Panasonic.
Plus, one of the coolest features in my opinion... The electronic viewfinder.
With the Panasonic it sticks out a bit and it makes it a bit more difficult to put it in a pocket or bag....
with the Sony the viewfinder just pops out...
The design is also similar to the RX series... and in my opinion this is one of the best head cameras currently available.
RX100 Mark 1-4.
Go 4-it ^^

Gugus,
I would take the Lumix because it has an extremely good lens in it and I think that the quality is very good.
