I use the RX0 "only" as a photo camera, as a supplement to my RX1R and A7R2. The RX0 allows me to put it in positions that I wouldn't be able to get to at all, or only with difficulty, with the other cameras.
In the first few days, I have already taken pictures of our dog or of snow and ice formations that I would not have been able to take otherwise. Until now, I have done the shutter release manually or with the help of the Sony app on my iPhone. Communication between the RX0 and the iPhone is not always easy to establish, and the app certainly has room for improvement.
I am convinced of the image quality of the RX0. I save the images in RAW format and edit them further in Lightroom Classic. So the RX0 integrates seamlessly into my normal workflow.
The RX0 is wonderfully small, practically disappears in your hand and allows you to take pictures without attracting attention, this applies to animals as well as people.
In the winter cold here in Grimentz, the battery life is not outstanding, a spare battery has helped me from time to time, but I'm used to that from Sony cameras anyway.
I was pleasantly surprised by the RX0's continuous shooting and how quickly the autofocus reacts to moving objects. I always had our dog playing in the snow in focus and in exciting, unusual perspectives.
I am looking forward to taking the RX0 with me on my next trip to India. It will surely give me pictures that will surprise me.
Since I already own Sony cameras, I immediately found my way around the menu structure. The user interface is very similar and makes it easy for me to get started with the RX0.

I am the proud owner of an RX0. My field of application is photography, above and under water. I also wanted to use the camera in extreme situations, i.e. to set it up outside in bad weather and take timelapses.
I am judging the camera from a photographic point of view only.
There are a lot of positive things, but I am still disappointed about some missing functions (***=relevance):
***) Max shutter speed 1/4s, i.e. long time exposure impossible. This is incomprehensible for a photographer, because Sony restricts creativity with this. Shutter speed up to 30s, Bulb, Time are missing.
***) Timelapse automatic is missing
***) ISO manual goes up to ISO80. In automatic mode, the camera only goes up to ISO125. Why?
*) Shooting with Bluetooth not possible, only with WLAN. I.e. a Bluetooth selfie stick cannot be used.
*) Star Trail automatic is missing
I hope that these features will be added with the next SW upgrade.

Super camera, small, top picture quality, unfortunately the camera already overheats after 15 - 30 minutes.
