Perfect for me!
Had before the Lumix S1R which is also already great. But unfortunately there is no smart focal length for over 400mm and also up to 400mm was unfortunately nix.
So the choice was not great and it was the R5. Got the Sigma 60-600mm, Canon EF 24-70mm f2.8 and the Laowa 15mm f2.0 Zero-D and I am completely thrilled.
The autofocus, especially the eye focus works incredibly well, especially small birds are super detected and focused even at a good distance although I use an EF lens with Canon EF/RF adapter. Canon has done a great job with this.

I waited a long time for the new R5 - and it completely exceeds my expectations. The operation is very intuitive and the camera feels very good in the hand. The new AF (animal, human) works great as far as I have tested it so far. The in-camera image stabilisation effectively enables longer handheld shooting times than was previously possible. The battery life is longer than expected. Overall more than satisfied

What one could say is that photoshop and lightroom are not yet ready with the CR3 format, as is premiere. But Canon has a programme to convert the files.
