If the Fritzbox does not offer PoE, first get a power supply for the telephone. Then I assume that you want to use your Sip account. Then you have to open port 5060 on the Fritzbox and assign it to the phone. It may be that Sunrise uses its own port. Hope to have helped further
Unfortunately, I have already parted with the part. (No internal call forwarding!)
You can operate the telephone problem with PoE and no longer need a power supply unit. The second Ethernet connection is there to loop through the network. There is an option with the door opener, but I only know this from the manual. I have never tried it myself!
Yes, no problem. That's what we do here... For calls, it shows the called number, for outgoing calls you either have to select a number, otherwise it takes the predefined number.
No this is a SIP phone you need an account of a VPBX (Virtual PBX) what you are looking for is a normal analogue phone because the converter in the UPC box outputs an analogue signal in the back like the socket in the wall used to. the cable can also not be extended via your network or via switches. if you want a wireless phone, for example, take an analogue dect device, which is available for around 60 fr :) hope I could help you.
Hello, yes, no problem. I have been using it with Swisscom for over a year.
Hello, This works without any problems. We have this adapter in use on a phone where no lan cable is available and have no problems with it. When plugged in, it automatically asks for the connection and the steps are self-explanatory. Sincerely
It is a SIP / VoIP telephone. So it can only be connected to the Fritzbox as VoIP. Although even then an "analogue" cable is needed ;-)
We use the SIP version with 3CX and everything works perfectly. There are also headsets (Bluetooth) that are wireless. I have one from Sennheiser. But any connection with a small plug fits.
yes, we use it with a Yeastar S20 and peoplefone but you can use it with other operators
As Mr Heeb writes, you need a LAN connection at the location. Then it depends on how you telephone with Sunrise or whether you also have Internet access via Sunrise. You may have received a FritzBox from Sunrise. The FritzBox is a router and a small telephone system. You can order a second telephone number from Sunrise or from a VOIP provider (e.g. Sipcall). The access data is recorded in the FritzBox, i.e. the FritzBox establishes the connection to the telephone provider. The telephone itself then communicates with the FritzBox. If you have a Fritzbox from Sunrise, it is best to check with Sunrise first, because the devices are sometimes not fully activated.
Probably not with this T48S SIP, because there is also the T48S SfB (https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/yealink-t48s-sfb-telefon-7951606) - it should work there. Presumably the devices are identical in terms of hardware and it is the firmware that makes the difference. I don't know enough about Skype 4 Business. But I haven't come across it in the account settings.
Unfortunately, I do not use the Bluetooth dongle.
The T48S is a "wired" IP telephone and has no DECT interface. It requires an Ethernet connection and a SIP account for operation. There is then the additional option of operating a Bluetooth or DECT headset on it. Greetings Michael Birrer, megaBYTE.ch
No, the T48S does not have DECT and is therefore not compatible with the W56P IP. The second point would be possible, but you would need Internet for it to work.
