Question about Yealink Sip-T48s
Hello all. I am interested in the Yealink t48s. I find the specs confusing. 2 network ports, one of them PoE capable. Can the phone be connected directly to a PoE-capable switch or does it need the separately available power supply? Does anyone know if there is an option to open the door with the phone? You can operate the telephone problem with PoE and no longer need a power supply unit. The second Ethernet connection is there to loop through the network.
There is an option with the door opener, but I only know this from the manual. I have never tried it myself!
The telephone can be connected directly to a PoE-capable switch (no power supply unit necessary). The 2nd network connection is probably meant to connect the PC directly to the phone.
