If I have read this correctly, the PSVR2 cable is already 4.5 metres long. I would be careful with extensions, because depending on the quality and data rate, the transmission can no longer be guaranteed.
I don't know the specification of the PSVR2 either, but for high data rates I would use an "active extension" with a repeater.
If no one has tested it before you, I would just give it a try.
Didn't really work for me. I wanted to connect three hard disks with the Sitecom CN 386 hub and the extension cable to a Macbook. Despite the power cable on the hub, I couldn't get the disks to work. It can't be the hub, it works without an extension cable...
Whether the cable is USB 3.1 Gen2 cannot be determined anywhere. However, I took the trouble to test the cable as an extension to an I-Tec USB-C docking base (Digitec item no. 11056816) with an HP ProBook. Power, LAN, monitor via HDMI + keyboard USB were connected to the docking base and everything worked perfectly. I therefore assume that this will also work with the ICI BOX Dockingbase.
Has anyone tested this cable with the Apple USB C multiport adapter with HDMI? I bought this cable for half the price: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/inline-usb-c-usb-c-050-m-usb-kabel-13308518?supplier=406802. But it only transmits the image signal and power, the USB connection only works when I plug the adapter directly into the iPad Pro. It worked fine with my other hub, but it was very unreliable, so I bought the original Apple one. So I'm considering buying this twice as expensive cable if it works.
