Is this USB 3.1 Gen2? I need an extension cable for my ICY BOX docking station ib-dk4050-cpd . They write that an extension is possible as long as the cable supports at least USB 3.1 Gen2. Gen1 would therefore not work.

Whether the cable is USB 3.1 Gen2 cannot be determined anywhere. However, I took the trouble to test the cable as an extension to an I-Tec USB-C docking base (Digitec item no. 11056816) with an HP ProBook. Power, LAN, monitor via HDMI + keyboard USB were connected to the docking base and everything worked perfectly. I therefore assume that this will also work with the ICI BOX Dockingbase.
