No, because the camera in question has an E-mount for lenses and this one has a G-mount for cameras. Either an adapter would have to be used between the two or simply leave it directly. According to internet research, an 18-200 mm lens is included in the scope of delivery.

Is it compatible with the alpha 7 II?

Technically yes, the lens mounts on the A7II body. However, only the central part of the sensor will be used in this case - in 'crop' mode - which reduces the resolution of the body drastically and turns the lens into a 27 - 157.50 mm. This is a pity. I advise you to use only FE lenses - F for Full-frame 24x36mm - which cover the entire sensor.

Dear Cornelia, I bought it for video recordings because it is well suited for smooth zooming with the power zoom switch. If you only take photos, I would recommend another one, because the sharpness is not bad, but there are better ones. Now of course the price is still a question and it is really really good, for what you get, the price is top! Also a small note, you write that you use it with the Alpha 7r2, which is a full frame camera, but this lens is made for APSC, which means you can attach it because it is also an E-mount, but you can't use the full sensor, depending on the setting it crops down or has about half or less of the pixels available and do you want that, because especially with landscape photography you like to have a lot of pixels and very sharp. If I knew what you were willing to invest, I could certainly make some suggestions. The stupid thing is that practically the same for full format is over 1000sFr: FE 24-105 mm F4 G OSS lens- https://www.sony.ch/de/electronics/kamera-objektive/sel24105g For landscape I would rather take a focal range of e.g. 16-35 mm, there are nice lenses from Zeiss but again over 1000sFr: FE 16-35 mm F4 ZA OSS - https://www.sony.ch/de/electronics/kamera-objektive/sel1635z alternatively something from Sigma they are also great and if not as E-mount then there is the cheap MC-11 adapter from them. The question is always what other lenses you have at home, I am a semi-professional and of course have a lot of lenses and take landscape photos at the moment with a fixed focal length, because they are always a little sharper anyway. So for private use it is certainly good for photos, but then you should better have an Alpha 6000 - 6300 or the 6500 because they have the APSC sensor and the lens corresponds to it, i.e. 18-105 then becomes approx. 27-158 mm because of the crop sensor.
