I have the a6300 with the Sigma 19mm f2.8 and the 50mm1.8 now I need a zoom lens for the Sony E mount.

Helpful answer

I have an a6000 and I can highly recommend the lens. It has become my go-to lens. I also have the 50mm 1.8, I think it's great, but I use it mainly when the zoom is out of the question in low light.

I would only recommend the 18-105 for (4k) filming. The optical quality is sufficient for that. For photography, I would go for the 16-70 f4, which is optically better and also meets relatively high demands. With 16mm it is a bit wider-angled and with max. 70mm it has a bit less telephoto. At https://www.dxomark.com you can take a look at the sharpness measurements. The a6000 with its sensor is about the same as the a6300 (in good light).
