Is it compatible with the alpha 7 II?
Technically yes, the lens mounts on the A7II body.
However, only the central part of the sensor will be used in this case - in 'crop' mode - which reduces the resolution of the body drastically and turns the lens into a 27 - 157.50 mm. This is a pity.
I advise you to use only FE lenses - F for Full-frame 24x36mm - which cover the entire sensor.
