Not 24-70mm. The equivalent focal length is given. 8.8-25.7mm is the actual focal length for the 1 inch sensor. It is also written on the front of the lens.

The RX100 series uses 1 inch (13.2 x 8.8mm) sensors.

I was able to register my RX100 V A for the cashback by selecting the RX100 V. Sony then recognises the camera as the RX100 V A version, so it should work without any problems.
