Sonos Roam
Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Airplay 2
According to the SONOS FAQ, this only works in WLAN. Additional to this: If you connect the Roam via Bluetooth, the stereo pair will be disconnected. When the Roam is connected to the WLAN again, you have to create the stereo pair again. Source: https://support.sonos.com/s/article/1066?language=de
A charging cable is included in the scope of delivery. The charging station is an optional accessory. https://www.sonos.com/de-de/shop/roam-and-wireless-charger-set.html
No, unfortunately this would only work in conjunction with a Sonos port, which in turn would have to be connected to the Denon AVR.
In my case, it has an old USB-A connection at the end of the cable.
Yes, Spotify and also Amazon, Deezer and pretty much every service imaginable can be added like Apple
Hello David.g2 I don't know. I mainly need it when we're travelling with our caravan. Bluetooth sends its regards 😊! Hansjürg
The boxes can be integrated into the home network in a group or streamed directly (individually). However, they cannot be connected to the sound system as active boxes, but only as additional boxes.
Let's just say that I would generally NEVER take an electronic device into the shower with me!
I have 4 Sonos one, and the Roam, Using the Roam as a Bluetooth repeater works great for me.
no, unfortunately that is not possible !
It's better to keep your hands off the Roam. For its price, there are more reliable products. Roam's Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections break down again and again, and the batteries have a rather short runtime.
Yes, you can also control smart home devices with it.
Probably not any time soon. As far as I know, the coloured roams can only be obtained from the manufacturer itself.
Unfortunately, not with Bluetooth so far.
Unfortunately I have not tried it and will not try it ☺️
Rather no. In wifi mode, you control the roam via the sonos app. It could work with an airplay device, but the Nest does not support that, as far as I know. Bluetooth sharing from android devices would also work in theory, but the Nest device is not included there either. It is best to use only sonos devices.
I don't think that's possible...in Spotify you can only choose one issue
You do not need an additional app for this. The Roam is then a normal Bluetooth device like any other.
You have to turn off the box completely, press the button at the back for about 7 seconds until you hear the sound.
