That is correct. However, it is also important to use a suitable cable. Unfortunately, not all cables work (even if they have the right plugs). If necessary, try a different cable and make sure that the laptop uses a socket that supports charging.

MacBook Pro M1 Pro = 67W OK
MacBook Pro M1 MAX = 96W should work but too low
Based on the pictures, it should be a plug with two pins (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki...) that also fits into our sockets. The power cable is also plugged into the power supply unit so that it can be replaced.

Digitec (or any other Swiss dealer) is obliged to supply electrical appliances with a Swiss plug. If the appliance is supplied with a foreign plug, a suitable replacement cable should be supplied if the mains cable is pluggable or, alternatively, a suitable adapter if the mains cable is permanently connected.
If the appliance is delivered without a suitable plug, complain to the customer service and insist on a cable or an adapter, free of charge.

The iPad will not be charged with 90W. It will only be charged with as many watts as the iPad itself can max and requests from the charger.
Power strips or extension cables have hardly any influence, so this fits. My Satechi adapter is also connected to a power rail and works without any problems.
