It costs 600 because, like pretty much every other graphics card, it is not available. Especially not the new models from Nvidia and AMD. Have you ever looked at the possible delivery date and thought about whether waiting is really worth your 250.-?
indeed. probably not updated or it's just high due to the recent processor chip shortage. go on toppreise.ch and look for cheaper alternative. PS: I found plenty ;)
Digitec doesn't, but the dealer Jacob (DE) does. Take a close look at the price. 27Rp?
very specific question ! but brother no plan. install drivers ?
MacOS supports the 580 chips. However, the RX580 from Apple has a customised firmware. But the purchased one does not, no boot logo, etc.... The button is on the right side of the card on the board and is very small.
Hello, Max. Resolution: DisplayPort: 5120×2880 at 60 Hz HDMI: 4096×2160 at 60 Hz DVI: 2560x1600 at 60 Hz
Hello, according to the comparison, the Geforce has more performance. The performance in watts is about the same. https://www.videocardbenchmark.net/compare/Radeon-RX-560-vs-GeForce-GTX-1050/3708vs3596
Yes, this graphics card is compatible with your mac pro 2012! According to Apple, it is possible to install mojave on the mac pro 2012.
Not compulsory I also have it in a system with a 400w power supply unit and it runs great 😁
...buy a RTX 2070 SUPER and sell the RX 580.
...both about the same. :)
I followed the article below and the card works without any problems. https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/mp5-1-what-you-have-to-do-to-upgrade-to-mojave.2142418/ The required 2x 6Pin to 8Pin adapter is available?
Mac 4.1. has 2x6 pin power cable - The Sapphire RX 580 needs 1x8pin - whereby (after I had already ordered an adapter, Art-Nr 5928133) I found out that you can simply plug the 1x6pin (PCIe) into the 8pin socket of the card - what surprises me, to be honest, is that it works perfectly... but I will exchange it just in case, as soon as the adapter is delivered... Connections: has no mini DP - "only" 2x DP, 2x HDMI and 1xDVI
yes.
PCI-E. EPS is for mainboard. The connectors are also not compatible with each other.
Yes, this is possible. An 8-pin power connection from the power supply unit with at least 500W is also required.
Which power supply unit? I only see a graphics card here. You'll have to measure whether it fits in your PC yourself. You can find the dimensions on the product page -> Specifications -> Show more -> Product dimensions.
Hello Yes, it should also run with PCIe 2.0, but possibly not at full speed. Greetings
Yes, you need a special cable to put this card in a Mac Pro 5.1 and power it properly. To my knowledge, this kind of connector is not available from Digitec. You need a Dual Mini 6 Pin to 8 Pin PCI-e. The 2 Minis are attached to the Mac Pro motherboard and the 8 Pin to the video card. There is a cable available from Digitec that looks similar but is not equipped with a mini 6 pin but a classic 6 pin and therefore, it won't work! It is not possible to find this cable on the market. For my part, cable ordered online from a supplier in Hong Kong Another "off topic" point. This card is not equipped with a Mac compatible EFI, so black screen until the machine is fully booted and memory, only usable from High Sierra.
