Hello I don't think it's designed for that. Even if it were somehow possible, it probably wouldn't look that great. I used three screws (in the dowels) to attach the metal base first. The lamp itself is then hung on 3 wires, which gives convenient access to the cables. Once electrically everything is connected. The lamp is lifted and fixed by turning it slightly towards the metal base. Everything then looks flush. I hope it helps you.

I think because the luminaire is always on standby, as it is/can be controlled with the smartphone. And a normal LED light only flows current when the light switch is pressed. But I'm not sure, it's just my guess. Have a nice evening :)

This can be controlled with the Bluetoothapp. It is simply important to consider whether to do this with or without the Bridge. The Bridge (different app) has a few more functions. The lamp can be controlled from several smartphones. The lamp can be turned on and off via a light switch. It just always falls back to the default setting.
