Philips Hue White & Color Ambiance Infuse
Philips Hue White & Color Ambiance Infuse
Hi Malte, probably M would do. But apart from the price (and the 4cm more space), I would probably rather recommend size L. With the large one, you have all the options (because it can be dimmed) and you don't have to wonder later whether it would have been better to buy the brighter (= larger) lamp.

Yes, the "White & Colour Ambiance Infuse (2400 lm)" from Philips Hue can be used both as a ceiling light and as a wall light, as it is designed as a combined wall light and ceiling light.

No, there's only the lamp and the bracket that screw to the ceiling, but unfortunately there are no screws :(
Hello claudiafer There was no switch included with our purchase. We use this switch (which is apparently not available from digitec at the moment): Philips Hue dimmer switch If I remember correctly, you can't change the colour with it, but you can set up colour profiles in the app, for example, which can then be activated with the switch (by pressing a button several times). We use the Hue Bridge (if this is relevant).
Yes, it has Bluetooth, but it is better to control the lamp via Hue's own standard.
This lamp has 3450 lm and for this reason we will correct this in the specifications.
We have the lamp at home in our office, which contains 2 large desks. The illumination is very good, especially due to the indirect lighting via the white ceiling and walls. I would say that if you don't have a larger than average living room or a wall and ceiling colour other than white, the lamp will do a good to very good job.
Yes, here. We have six in operation in one stairwell.
Philips has planned for the earth wire to be connected to the lamp mounting plate. The luminous part of the lamp requires only one phase and one neutral.
The Philips Hue White & Colour Ambiance Infuse lamp is compatible with the Hue Dimmer Switch when connected via a Hue Bridge or Bluetooth. With the Dimmer Switch, you can switch the lamp on and off, dim it and switch between different light scenes that have previously been configured in the Hue app. However, it is not possible to set the colours directly on the Dimmer Switch without the app. The colour selection and creation of scenes must be done in the Hue app and the Dimmer Switch can then be used to switch between these scenes
Mine doesn't bleep, even with white ect. Good lamp!
Yes, dowels are definitely necessary for a concrete ceiling. A 6 mm dowel is sufficient. The screw size required is indicated on the dowel.
a bridge is certainly advantageous, certain luminaires and lamps can also be controlled via bloototh. illumination depends on the lamp.
Hello I don't think it's designed for that. Even if it were somehow possible, it probably wouldn't look that great. I used three screws (in the dowels) to attach the metal base first. The lamp itself is then hung on 3 wires, which gives convenient access to the cables. Once electrically everything is connected. The lamp is lifted and fixed by turning it slightly towards the metal base. Everything then looks flush. I hope it helps you.
I think because the luminaire is always on standby, as it is/can be controlled with the smartphone. And a normal LED light only flows current when the light switch is pressed. But I'm not sure, it's just my guess. Have a nice evening :)
Why shouldn't this industry also be affected when, for example, car manufacturers complain about problems? Are lamps immune? Lamps also contain electronics, especially intelligent ones like Philips Hue. Lamps also have to be transported. If only one component from China or elsewhere is needed and it has production, processing or transport problems, this one part can massively affect the availability of the whole lamp.
This can be controlled with the Bluetoothapp. It is simply important to consider whether to do this with or without the Bridge. The Bridge (different app) has a few more functions. The lamp can be controlled from several smartphones. The lamp can be turned on and off via a light switch. It just always falls back to the default setting. Afterwards, you can configure it again via app. Timer functions are only possible with the bridge. For advice, you can also call us or contact us via chat.
