Question about Philips Hue White & Color Ambiance Infuse

I now have the second lamp. The humming of the first one got louder and louder over time. The lamp was kindly replaced. The second lamp now also hums when it is switched off (when there is still power). After taking a closer look, I can say that the humming is a combination of the transformer and the control electronics. The transformer alone hums quietly, but when the control unit is connected to the transformer, the volume of the humming increases to about twice as much. I will probably see if a different transformer solves the problem.

I had a very high-pitched whistling noise, which is only audible with very good hearing (my father could no longer hear it). According to research on the Internet and conversations with other owners, all coloured ceiling lamps from Hue (Ensis, Xamento, Infuse, Surimu) whistle. The only question is whether you yourself are sensitive to it and can hear the noise. In addition, not all of them seem to whistle at the same volume and frequency.

We have just realised that ours hums when dimmed or "switched off" - let's see if we can replace it (did not come from digitec)

I can't detect any annoying whistling at all. I am satisfied with the lamp so far!
