OWC Aura Pro X2

OWC Aura Pro X2
1000 GB, M.2 2280
It only works with the specified Macbooks, which is why it is so clearly defined. There is no point in trying around because the interface standards have changed and things like sleep modes are also an issue.
No M.2 plug will fit there. Because Apple is cooking its own soup here too... Although the connector looks similar to an M.2, it is not compatible and apparently does not have its own designation. In my opinion, the description of this SSD is wrong. M.2 is quite clearly defined and Apple does not follow this definition. To come back to your question: Unfortunately I can't answer that, there is no filter and you don't need me to look through all the enclosures to see if one might fit. Maybe one of these enclosures will fit (from OWC): https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/producttype/externes-gehaeuse-35?bra=15144&pdo=67-8739%3A468446&tagIds=76-524 Good luck with your search.
Yes, that fits.
The capacity appears to be 500 GB. We thank you for your comment and will adjust the specifications accordingly as soon as possible!
Thunderbolt 3. It has the same connector as USB 3 but is faster, and you need it to reach maximum read speeds of around 26 Gbps.
Hi,I have an Apple Mac Pro with an E5-1650 installed, but when I looked at the specs of your Macbook, I realised that it also has one installed.
the OWC Aura was installed in a MacPro 2013. Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee that it will fit on a 2015 Macbook Pro. LG
Of course that's not possible... you have to take the OWC case which is even better in terms of quality...
Many Mac devices use SSDs with proprietary connectors, so unfortunately the commercially available SSDs do not fit. These SSDs from OWC are designed specifically for some Macbook series: https://eshop.macsales.com/item/OWC/S3DAPT4MB05/#compatibility.Sie can try to look for alternatives using tools such as https://www.crucial.com/upgrades/apple/macbook-models. However, I am not aware of any cheaper alternatives.
According to information from our supplier, this is the upgrade kit. It includes the additional housing and installation tools.
Apple really doesn't make it easy to change components. That has always been the case.
Hello - isn't it a 1466? It would probably fit, but to be sure, it's best to ask OWC directly (https://www.owcdigital.com/support/contact) - I've found several guides to the Aura (one Pro or X2) for 2012, but nothing about the Pro X2, whether it fits... LG
does not fit, is intended for older macbooks. greetings ueli
Unfortunately no! The Apple SSDs have a different format, this should fit: OWC Envoy Pro (M.2)
Yes, this one should fit. If you need additional help with the installation: https://de.ifixit.com/Anleitung/MacBook+Air+13-Inch+Beginning+2015+SSD+Exchange/38535
Go to the OWC website and check it is the best solution
I haven't found much unfortunately, there are these two https://www.digitec.ch/Comparison/11857984-12802292 and from what I saw on iFixit, the Aura Pro X2 is recommended
"Aura Pro X2 SSDs can only be installed in 21.5-inch iMac models equipped with a factory-installed SSD or Fusion drive" (quote Applestore from Lucerne). ... and according to my experience: Mac devices in which ONLY an HDD is installed have no ports for an additional SSD ex works. A suitable adapter and/or cable plus mounting must be purchased separately. Or you can buy the right conversion kit.
As far as I know, you need an S-ATA M.2 for the MB Air Late 2010, so this one does not work.
Hello. this ssd is not in a case and without an adapter.
Compatible with both models: https://de.ifixit.com/Anleitung/Mac+Pro+Late+2013+SSD+exchange/21205
Yes, you can check with your model number here: https://eshop.macsales.com/shop/ssd/owc/macbook-air/2013-2014-2015
