Question about OWC Aura Pro X2
I have seen that this SSD fits into a MacBookAir Early 2015. But does it also fit in the ICY box? IB-183M2 (M.2 2230, M.2 2242, M.2 2260, M.2 2280) 20.90 and does the box fit the above-mentioned MacBookAir in terms of connections?
OWC offers an enclosure especially for this SSD, it is even offered in a set together with the SSD.
It obviously does not fit into the ICY box, as you can see from the different contact layout. As far as I know, there is only one drive housing (Envoy) in which the Aura Pro X2 could fit. But it is explicitly stated that the Envoy enclosure is NOT compatible with the Aura Pro X2. Unfortunately, I don't know for sure whether the SSD will fit in the MacBookAir.
